Miss Rufus Foutz

 With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our fur baby, Miss Rufus, who left us last night peacefully in my arms at the age of 17.

Miss Rufus entered our lives, because of a dream I had of a white scruffy male dog named Rufus. Decker wasn’t happy about my dream & told me he would drown any dog I brought home!

A couple months later 3 puppies were born at the Telford’s home by their beloved mini Schnauzer, Bailey. The father, a neighbor’s dog, amazingly looked like the dog in my dream. Therefore, our little girl was given the name “Miss” Rufus. 

Despite Decker saying no, she came home with me & she became his princess!

Our well traveled rugged little cowgirl, liked chewing tobacco, eating horse shit & rolling in cow manure! She entertained many guests with her famous “dog
& pony” show.

Her presence enriched our lives in many ways, words can hardly express.

She now joins her brother OSO, & leaves her brother Freddy
