Rowena Stephenson

Rowena was hand-picked by her human brother Roman. She was gifted to me in a time of my life that I needed her most. For never having wanted to be a pet owner, I soon became a great one. Rowena and I spent 5 years laying on the balcony and next to our pond daydreaming. 2 years ago, we met Gabriel her new human dad and we moved into a new home. In the last 2 years of her life, she not only loved me and Roman, but she fell in love with Gabriel and Gabriel fell in love with her. She loved her kitchen table and loved sitting on top of our papers and computers while we were trying to work. She loved her birds and garden and porch or any window she could see out of if she was stuck inside. She was an old grumpy spirit, but we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. She loved crawling under the covers with you at night and laying in the curve of your body, even if for just a short time before escaping the blanket. It was my favorite. Gabriel and her had a very different relationship. She allowed him to kiss her and hug her, things she never would have allowed before. They spent their mornings together while he worked. Her head pressing into his hand for pets. Gabriel lived for these moments with her. 

 We can feel her loss in every inch of our home. What we wouldn't give to have you back home with us. We will love and miss you for a lifetime.
